Differences between Chinese and Germans

Since I am living in Germany, I often compare things between China and Germany. I found the two cultures have many habbits and characters in opposite ways.

Just now I found a funny post on the Internet, which showed the differences between Germans and Chinese in photos. The first photo is the habbits of German and the second photo is for Chinese.Three meals a day

  1. Dealing with problems could be seen very differently. One outcome: The result is the same. German - problem solved. Chinese - found another way.
But if you like you could see it negative - problem stays unsolved.

  2. Lingling, this is very clever.

I also agree with Jens-Olaf for alternatives.

Maybe the most important is visualized in 'interpersonal relationship'. The Chinese one shows a value that can also exist in Europe, but is not the rule: solidarity.

p.s. liked your description of New Years in China style. I was actually wondering what Asian New Year might show you in Germany. Something to find out ;)

There is a lot of truth in these pictures. I am Chinese and my non-Chinese husband have misunderstandings because of the diffent communication styles. I like your blog Ling Ling!
