Olympics Openning Ceremony Party

I am much encouraged you are still coming back to here by without updatings for months . This makes me feel shame about my idleness. So I guess I will really work hard on this and share more pictures and things with you. However, in the next months I will have more interesting things to share, as we are planning to go to Thailand for a week at the beginning of October. In middle of October I will go to Tibet with my bf's parents. But as of now I will keep updating more frequently.

In last entry I mentioned about the Olympics Opening Ceremony party, here I have more photos to show you. As all of you haven't seen my family members for a long time.

Here is a family photo. needless to introduce but you already know who they are. Since Sichuan earth quake my family moved to Beijing that we can get reunion again and we are very happy that we could see each other every week. My sister in law has found a job at a clothing store do sales and my brother is still looking for one at this moment. He just finished his driving licence class, so it takes time for him to find the job. Miaoyang is going to the kindergarten everyday. Since the school fee in Beijing is much higher than in Mianyang, Mianyang was 2000 RMB for semester and in Beijing it costs at least 1500 RMB per month only. So my brother cant afford it , the good thing is there's a school nearby didn't charge any coin for Miaoyang since they heard they are from Sichuan due to earth quake. How nice of the people! I believe after this tough time, my brothers family will get over all of the difficulties.Last family photo you couldn't see Miaoyan´s face, here I add this photo so you can see how big she has grown up. She is a beautiful girl and she got a really good character, very caring and thoughtful. My sister in law is a nice woman, she always concern about us and work hard.

after dinner before the openning start, we all sit around to get ready for the ceremony. as Chinese, we were very proud we could finally make the Olympics started in our country and I felt I was lucky that we are just in the city, with my family and with my boyfriend, all the people I love were in Beijing experienced this special moment.

Looked outside of the window we noticed the flash of the chimney.It was fixed from an old factories chimney but it stopped working because of Olzmpics. Now its just for decoration.

I am back from Olympics

I am back from Olympics! Its not because I have attended the games, it was the blog was blocked the whole time. I couldn't even enter Blogger edit page.Now the games are finished and of course I am able to come back again.

Here in Beijing everything is good for me. Not much differences than 3 months ago, I am still having the same living life-working, spending time with my boyfriend and family, visiting friends, the only thing I have changed is I don't go shopping as much as before. I am going to the drivers school on the weekend try to get a driving licence.

Our life didn't change that much from Olympics, except friends visiting to watch the games and less cars on the street by traffic control and spent more time in front of the TV. I have bought two tickets for Athlete at Bird Nest. But I gave them to my mom and my brother to watch it.

Now I will show you some pictures I took during Olympics, not from the games but life. We went the the party at Holland House sponsored by Heineken opened only during the Olympics. They are all my colleagues, some of them you have already seen from former pictures. It was so much fun, that night was the few nights we experienced Olympics atmosphere.

I held a party at my boyfriend's apartment on 8th-the opening ceremony, to get my family together and watch the Opening together on TV. In that day all the offices were closed in Beijing to reduce traffic jam. I had to work half day to take care of my works, so I started to prepare the dinner at afternoon 5 o'clock. It was easy as most of the food I bought from the market and my BF helped me for the drinks etc.

My mom was quite happy for the reunion of my whole family. Unfortunately, my brother-in-law had gone to a business trip, so he couldn't come over to join us. Here you can see Miaoyan and my little niece-Yingying.
I prepared a Chinese and Western mixed dinner for them. aren't they look delicious?I thought its good to have such party to get everyone together to communicate. I will make this kind of even often in future.

Anyway, It was a successful party. We all watched the opening ceremony and amazed by the performance Chinese government made. Did you watching it?
